Milani & NYX Eyeshadow Review

I've picked up a few eyeshadows in the past weeks. One is from NYX and the others are from Milani. I've never tried any of their eyeshadows so I was very excited as I've heard great things about them. Let's get started with this review!

Milani Powder Eyeshadows:

I got two of these eyshadows one is White Lie and the other is Olympian Blue. The packing is really cute it's round and is a bit similar to how Mac's eyeshadows are but bigger.First off by looking at these eyeshadows they look very pigmented! When I went to swatch them with my finger they were very pigmented and bright! They look amazing without a base but with a base the colors are super bold. They are easy to blend and a little goes a long way. I give these eyeshadows a perfect 10. The price for them are $5.99.

Milani Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows:

I receieved these eye shadows for winning a giveaway they were hosting on twitter. The one I got was Backstage Basics. This little mini palette comes with 6 eyeshadows ranging from white to black. I did not like the packaging it was a bit difficult to open and I broke my nail trying to open it. These eyeshadows have shimmer in them and look a bit chalky. However, with these you have to build up to the intensity that you want. The colors last all day with out fading, it looked like I just applied my eye makeup! They are easy to blend. I think this little palette is ideal for traveling or when you're on the go. I would definitely recommend using a base underneath as the colors will show a lot better. The price for this is $8.99.I give this little palette an 8.

NYX Single Eyeshadow:

I've been on the hunt for a super bright yellow. I saw that NYX had one called Mellow Yellow. I was hesitant to purchasing it just because I was afraid that it wasn't going to be what I expected. I took a chance and bought it since was on sale at Ulta. The color is very pigmented over a white base and I fell in love with it! I've never tried any of their eyeshadows before but I will definitely be purchasing more in the months to come. With the eyshadow you can build it to the intensity that you want but you don't need much. The packing is similar to Mac's but square and wider. I believe the eyeshadow is $4 and something cents, I bought it for $3.50.

8 Bit Cosmetics: Review

These Products were sent to me for reviewing purposes. I received 4 samples and 2 full size eye shadows. They are all minerals and come in amazing colors. These eye shadows are super pigmented, without a base so imagine how they will look with a base underneath! They are easy to blend which is always good. You can intensify the colors by adding more. The glitter eyeshadow, I thought was just a really shimmery eye-shadow but it's just glitter. Most of the shadows are matte, however, not all are. They are very affordable, for a sample size they are $1.00 for 0.5 grams and for a full size it's $4.00 for 2 grams. The samples come in little baggies and the full size come in a little container with a sifter. Some of the eye shadows are vegan and some aren't. On their facebook page and website they say which are and aren't. So if you're looking for vegan eye shadows these are for you.  The owner, Nicole, is amazing! She'll reply to your message within hours and is super friendly, so you'll be getting excellent customer service. Overall, these eye shadows  are amazing as well as the company! And if you don't believe me you should definitely check them out yourself and if you do tell her Tori sent you. :) I will be doing more looks using these so keep a look out for that and as always have a super amazing day!

Favorite Nail Polishes + Mini Review

So I know I've never done a favorites post but I love these polishes so much I thought I spread the word and show y'all what I'm digging at the moment. :)

So I believe it was a couple of weeks ago that I went to Dollar General with my mom. I love looking at makeup their since most of it is like a dollar. Anyway they were having a sale on L.A Colors' Nail polish. I've never used their nail polish and I'm a bit picky when it comes to nail polish since I'm always wearing it. Anyways, I was looking at the colors and by looking at them they look really watery like water paint. You know how you have to keep going over it to make it dark. Well I took a chance with it and bought a black nail polish, it's called Circuits. I will say it totally proved me wrong. It came out dark, there were like a little bit of lightness but doing two coats and it's as dark as the night sky. This polish lasted me almost a whole week without chipping and I love that.

The Rest of these polishes are from Milani, I've purchased two and the others I've received from a giveaway. The colors are called Sail Away, Beach Front, Silver, and Silver Stilettos. These colors are so pretty! All you need is one coat and you're good to go. Also they do dry pretty fast, so that's a plus. They do last almost a week as well. I absolutely adore these polishes. These nail polishes cost $4.49 and the Silver one since it's Jewel FX Nail Lacquer it cost $4.99. You can find these at Walmart.

Sail Away is more of a navy blue with gold shimmer in it.

Beach Front is a baby blue with silver shimmer in it.

Silver is just glitter decorations to add to your nails.

Silver Stilettos is just a silver nail polish with shimmer in it.
